Dear Family,
So guess what? About an hour before transfer meeting, I get this phone call... from the president... and I pick up, and President says, I'm changing your assignment. Get packed and I'll see you at transfers.
I started BAWLING. Yesterday was probably one of the hardest days of my mission so far. For me, I go into these areas just long enough to get to know the people, love them, and then I'm always the sister that gets emergency transferred. It's taken a real tole on me. I've been here for six weeks, I'm on my 5th and 6th companions, and my third area. But it's okay because I guess Heavenly Father had a whole bunch of people that I needed to talk to who inconviently live really far away from eachother, and I guess I have to meet them all before I go to Brazil.
I'm in a trio right now. All three of us have been missionaries for 6 weeks. But guess waht? Sister Jory Miller is one of my companions! My other companion is Sister Hoskisson. Sister Jory Miller and I have half an hour where we can teach eachother in Portuguese. And it's been a huge help. I'm heartbroken that I had to leave Belle Isle. Belle Isle is the dream area. But Ann Arbor I hear is pretty good too. We had to cut a ton of people, and Sister Jory Miller doesn't know very many members, so we're essentially white-washing the area, and all of us are 6 weeks into being a missionary. It means we all have to step up and be leaders because chances are, if I'm still here for next transfer, I'm going to be a trainer. How scary is that? And this isn't even my final destination!!
It's been really hard so far, just because I don't feel like I'm doing much, becuase I'm not in an area long enough to do much. But I'm trying my hardest. We had a really strange lesson with this man about how we are not physical human beings, and how this is all a dream, and that we are nothing more than the love of god. It made no sense, but we still love crazy people :)
Anyways, I hope the journey is going really well! Stay safe! PLEASE.
