...in toilet paper. But really, we ran out of money this week, so we wento the church to borrow a roll of toilet paper. ha. i think its a little humerous.
Bom dia familia!!! Another week come and gone here in the B. By B, I mean Brasil. Lifes rollin. My companion will be peacin~ out this week, so we~re working on getting her prepped to go home. Transfers are next week. Can you believe it!!?? I have no idea whats going to happen, but I think vou ficar mais uma transferencia aqui em balneario. I don~t think I~m ever going to leave actually. I~ll probably stay here until... I finish the mission. Just kidding, but when I leave Balneario, I think I^m leaving Goiania. Its cool though, because I like to go to new places.
So this week, we had like... the most legit P-Day of ever. We went to this park called Mutirama. Our president brought our entire zone to this amusement park. It was 26 missionaries. So fun. It was super ghetto. Like as ghetto as ghetto gets, but it was also like..... 4 dollars for each of us to go. And for 4 dollars, lets be real, it was pretty good. But it was so funny, the day after we went, I~m pretty sure EVERYONE in the zone was in pain. We did this bumper cars, that were extremely rough. It was like.... 20 missionaries using 20 malfunctioning bumper cars. Everyone got whiplash. And the next day it was so funny seeing the missionaries DYING from pain. And all of the rides were rough. Now I know how dad feels after we go to theme parks.
It was way fun.
What else happened this week... a lot of good, a lot of difficulties, a lot of studying. No joke. It was so funny, me and my companion were SO TIRED. We taught a lesson, and I think we were both zombies in this lesson, I was so tired that I couldnt focus on what the people were saying, its so hard learning a new language. After the lesson, I just started crying in the middle of the road. Me and my comp sat down, and this is where it gets funny. Another missionary from another church, came up to us, and was like.... hey are you okay? I just felt prompted to tell you that God loves you. ANd then he gave us a piece of paper for his church in Tocantinas, and left. I don~t know what he was doing here in Goiania because Tocantinas is another state and his church is located in tocantinas. I dont know, I thought it was funny.
I met Elder Shortland~s parents the other day. It was really funny, trying to speak to them in English. I didn~t say much because it was hard to think of things to say in English. I don~t know why, because I would always speak English when I was talking to other americans. I think I switched on and off with them when I was talking to them... but Elder Shortland was infinitely worse. I don~t think he talks to his parent at all in English haha! He was trying to take a picture of us with his moms camera, and he wasnt speaking any english. I was like.... Elder, you~re talking to your parents in Portuguese. And his mom was like... hes been doing that a lot.
So yeah. Thats my week. The food here is way good. I want to learn how to make a few of the things that I like here. Oh my gosh. Pamonha, is to die fore. Tapioca is freaking delicious too. And.. pao de quejo.
Well... BYE
