Oi Familia!
This week. Has been way cool! I have a new companion! She has 3 transfers on the mission, so she~s still a little fresh, but she~s really cool. Her name is Sister Finder, from Curitiba! I like her a lot!
So this week...
I was in a trio for a couple days with Sister Guerreiro and Sister Andersen. It was hilarious. Sister Andersen lost her voice because she was sick, but it was really funny...
We were knocking doors, and theres this old lady, and she was like...come in! So we try to teach her, but she was crazy!!! She would talk forever and ever and ever literally about nothing. So Sister Andersen tries to say something in Portugues, but the lady didn~t understand. She was so funny. She was like... haha! I don~t understand anything you~re trying to say!!! And then she continued to talk and talk and talk and talk. We finally escapéd her house, and went to the next door. We~re in the middle of a lesson, and the crazy lady appeared in the door or this pérson we~re teaching. She starts laughing, points to Sister Anderson, and says, hahah you won~t understand anything she says!!!! and then she disappeared! ...like what?
So transfers happened. There was a ton of Elders at transfers, and not very many sisters. I was looking at who could possibly be my companion, but it didn~t really matter because I didn~t really know any of them. Then they had transfer meetings, and our AP was like.... Woo Sister Marshall is going to be a Senior Comp to Sister Finder! In all honesty, I don~t really know what I~m doing... I think it was a little bit easier to be senior when I was speaking my native tongue, but the lord doesnt ask us to do things he knows we can~t do.
But unfortunately, something happened on Saturday. We were walking, and Sister Finder fell, and broke her foot. So....we have to stay in our house this week, until she gets her cast removed. Ha...what? This is the first time in my mission that I~ve had to stay in. NO joke, I~m going nuts. I~m reading a lot of books. Right now I~m reading this book called O Poder De Membro Missionarios. I think in English its called The Power of Member Missionaries. I don~t know. ... But its really good. I encourage all members to read it. It has so many ideas on how to be a successful member missionary.
Its been really hot this week, and REALLY DRY. I think the rain is officially gone, I~m starting to get allergies, using a lot of lip balm. And the sun... the sun is pretttttty hot.
Also this week, we ended up helping a less active member make shirts for the Brazil world cup. We cut and folded literally hundreds of Brazil jerseys for the world cup!! Thats right, in a couple months, there will be hundreds of people wearing Brazil jerseys that I helped make! WOOO!!!
In other news. I don~t think I have any. But things are good. I love my new comp. Life is good. Servin the Lord. Lovin people. Speaking broken Porchie. The yoozh.
Welllll, bye!
