Whaddup fam! It seems like just yesterday I was talking to yall on skype!
oh wait.
It was so good to talk to you guys! Its always awful when time runs out. But its okay because CHRISTMAS I~LL BE HOME. Maybe i~ll be home for angelee~s birthday. But if not, I~ll be sure to get her a REALLY COOL birthday present.
Anyways, you guys already know whats kind of happened this week, but I guess the rest of the world doesnt, so we~~ll just kind of... rerun.
In other news, I was transferred this week. But there were a lot of sisters transferred this week. I thought that we were getting transferred out of Goiania, but I ended up getting transferred a little bit further into Goiania. The clothes is cheaper, the people are drunker, LETS DO THIS!
I already told you a little bit about Kadri. Kadri is from Astonia but lived in England for 20 years. She married a Brazilian and found herself here in Goiania! WOOOOO!!! It was actually really cool, an American, Sister Lewis talked to her on the street, and she told her she didn~t speak portugues, and so then sister lewis started talking to her in English. She then started learnng from the missionaries, and got baptized a few weeks ago! She is seriously one of the funniest people I think I~ve ever met, and its awesome because we talk to her in English! But it was funny because after I finished talking to you guys last night, I was trying to talk to her and one of the Elders in our ward at the same time, but I was getting really mixed up with who spoke what language. This whole bi-lingual thing is complicated, or in portugues...complicado. Anyways, she rocks, and I~ll be sure to tell her thanks again for letting us use her computer.
Other than that, me and my companion are what they call ´´opening an area``. What that means is that we are 2 new sisters in an area, so we pretty much just have to start from scratch. We have no money haha because we had to replenish the fridge, had to buy pillows, and had to buy the random things so that we don~t die in our house. Our house is really spacious. But it smells a lot like mold and occasionally cigarretes... But hey. It~s brazil.
We talked to a lot of people on the streets this week. We have a goal every week to talk to 100 people each and get 30 addresses. THis week, we accomplished that goal, and we met a lot of crazies and a lot of drunks. This week we~re going to try hard to work with the members in this ward because they~re trying to split our ward I think this upcoming summer.
My Birthday was awesome. The lunch that we had, I told the Irma that was giving us lunch that it was my birthday, and she was like.. crazy! its my sons birthday too, so we have cake! WooO! And Kadri made us some cake too!
I went to the doctor this morning. I have a fungus on my neck! Wooo!!! Thatts disgusting!!! It~s called Micosi. A fungus that comes from heat. So its cool. I also have a face wash or medicine because of my face. The sun is destroying my skin. And another type of sunscreen as well.
I~m just glad its a fungus, and not.... an illness that leaves me in pain, because that happens here too.
In other news, I don~t think I have any. Thanks for the memes. They were hilarious!
Love you guys a lot!
Sister Marshall
