This week was CRAZY.
So we were getting ready for the baptism of N--, this week. N--- is a young woman. She has 14 years old. It was funny though, because N-- didn~t even have a single problem with the Word of Wisdom. Not even coffee. I~m pretty sure thats a first on my mission. But we were also teaching her friends, A---, E--- and J----. All of them were like... We want to get baptized too, but we weren~t sure what their moms would say. They talked to their moms, and their moms were like... sure. Wooo! So we had to help all four of them prepare to be baptized!!
Awesome, right?
This weekend, we had 9 baptisms in our ward. That has NEVER happened in this ward. It was literally a miracle. The elders were helping baptise some young men, and we were baptizing young women. The funny part is that they~re all around the same age, and sunday, we were helping clean the church, and we found a ton of love notes on the floor that our investigators were passing to eachother. This week we~ll be teaching a lot from the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet!!!!
Another miracle this week. We were so stressed because we were helping with the baptisms, we really didn~t have much time to do anything else. One night, we were at the church, helping set up and prepare, and one of our investigators, S---, just appeared at the church. We talked to him for a little bit, and he left. But it was so random, our investigator just appeared at the church. We invited him to the baptism, and him and his son came. Yesterday we taught them about baptism, and the book of mormon, and invited them to be baptized. They accepted. If all goes well, they will be baptized this Saturday as well.
Transfer News:
Nothing happened in our group. We were eating lunch when the Assistants called. Right now, we~re in the same area as the Zone Leaders, so the assistants called during lunch and all of the missionaries were really tense. But no one in our area was transfered. A couple people in our district and zone, but there wasn~t really too much of a difference.
I don~t really have other news for you guys. I~m doing great. Loving the area. Loving the ward, Loving my comp and loving the people I serve with. Theres just a whole lot of love!
Stay sweet, sweet thangs!!
