1)the sisters that were transferred this week came to stay with us/ 2)elections 3)where we drink water... just kidding.)
Brasil. Is. So. Hot.
So this is what happened. Honestly I don~t know. I was sleeping, woke up, my mouth was completely dry, it was so hot. I get up drink water. Plug in my fan. And then.... the plug next to my bed stops working. and it doesn~t work anymore. Now I~m sleeping with a water bottle next to my bed and when i wake up dying from the heat, i dump water on my face and try to sleep again. I wake up 30 minutes later, it~s already dry and I repeat haha.
This week, we~re trying to find new people to teach. We~re teaching a lot of lessons, but a lot of the people let you in and let you teach, but really aren~t interested. It~s rough haha. But we know that as long as we~re doing what we~re supposed to be doing, the lord will guide us to those people who are looking for a happier, better life!
We started having District Meeting in the Afternoon, and this month we have Zone Meeting every week as well. It~s cool, I like it. I love the zone, I love my district (Seeing as i~ve served in this district pretty much since I~ve got here.
Today we~re going Bowling as a zone. Wooo! The best part is that its in my area, so we don~t even have to take a bus. Its a christmas miracle because man, I LOVE the bus... just kidding. The bus is.... the bus, you know how it is.
The funniest thing happened yesterday in church. One of our recent converts was talking to one of the councelors of the bishop, and this councelor asked if he could give a prayer in sacrament meeting. He said, of course, but I only give powerful prayers. The councelor was like.... thats what we need! So its the end of sacrament meeting. I see him getting up to pray and think... this is going to be interesting because his prayers are always pretty interesting when we~re teaching him. so he starts to pray... and then he starts praying that satan leaves this place, he prays that we can always have the smell of God with us, and that he can bless our bones and things like that. It gets quieter and quieter, and I look and see one of the Elders is there turning down the volume because everyone in the ward had their eyes wide open staring at him. And when I looked, he had his arms raised. Oh my gosh. it was so funny.
I don~t really have much more to say.
Love ya guys!
